Please note our permits are under review and we’re working with the DOT and NYS Police to work out the safest possible course. The links below are the most likely routes for each leg. We’ll be posting the official courses upon approval by the proper authorities.
- Swim (500 yd) – Swim in the canal – nice, clean and still water. Out and back around a buoy to the opposite side where the transition area is.
- Bike (12.37 miles) – Nice bike ride up 32/4 along the river, steep climb up Bacon Hill before turning right on W. River Rd. Several miles of fast road and slightly rolling hills. Fast descent down Bacon Hill and then a straightaway back to transition.
- Run (5k) – Mix of roads and trail. South on 32/4 through quiet side-streets of Schuylerville, onto the towpath heading back to the park. Run around the park and then a beeline to the finish line.
